We begin the New Year with some membership changes. Jean Blosser completed her term and we thank her for her many contributions. She will be missed. We welcome Liz McCrea from Indiana University who replaces Jean as the University representative. The other members of the committee are Tom Ehren (Schools), Leisha Eiten (Audiology), Pat Ritter (Health Care/Pediatrics), and Carole Roth (Health Care/Adults).
The Quality Improvement Study Section Action Plan outlines objectives for 1998. Two major initiatives are the compilation of an annotated Quality Improvement Bibliography and presentations of quality improvement examples across settings at the ASHA Convention and in future newsletters.
