The 2003 Perspectives marks the end of my 4-year term as Division 11 CEU Administrator. In the next issue of Perspectives, you will find the names of the Division 11 affiliates who successfully completed the 2003 continuing education self-study activity, earning 0.8 CEUs. I also want to express my appreciation for the opportunity to serve as CEU Administrator. I highly recommend becoming involved in Special Interest Division activities. The opportunity to meet incredibly accomplished, forward-thinking colleagues who also have a knack for having fun and meeting new challenges is incredibly stimulating. I have learned a tremendous amount from our Perspectives editors, the very talented (and exceptionally organized!) Wren Newman and Cheryl Gunter, as well the amazingly insightful Division Coordinators Laura Billetdeaux and Liz McCrea. I offer my special thanks to the dynamic Steering Committee members; I have enjoyed working with each of you and am particularly appreciative to Deb Carlson and Carmen Vega-Barachowitz for sharing ideas and thoughts regarding JCAHO and other medically-based issues. Finally, I thank you, the Division affiliates, for your input into CE activities. The Division’s CE activities are in great hands with the new CEU administrator, Carol Dudding, from the University of Virginia. Best wishes, Carol!
