Once again, it’s time to update you on the happenings within the Division. I’m happy to report that there is a great deal to update you on!
I must first address our affiliates and colleagues in Louisiana, Texas, and Mississippi who have endured Hurricanes Katrina and Rita. Although both hurricanes began in South Florida and left us without power for several days, there was no way to anticipate what was to come. I’m certain you join me in sending thoughts and prayers to those who have been so severely affected.

This is a special issue as the newsletter is a collaborative effort between Division 10 (Higher Education) and Division 11. Thanks to Division 11 Perspectives’ Editor Shelley Victor and Division 10 Perspectives’ Editor Nancy Robinson. Their efforts are evident in the caliber of the information presented.
