Welcome to the third issue of Perspectives and our final issue of 2006. This has been another busy year for the Division.
We collaborated with Division 16, School-Based Issues in developing an assessment tool to evaluate speech-language pathologists in the schools. There has long been concern that school clinicians are assessed on performance by a school administrator who may not be aware of the roles and responsibilities of a school-based speech-language pathologist.
Susan Bartlett represented Division 11 and contributed to the document, which has been peer reviewed and has been approved by the Legislative Council for final consideration before the tool is available to the general membership.
