The “call to arms” is then issued. We are advised to contact our legislators to inform them of the anticipated positive or negative consequences to a bills passage.

How does a legislator become informed about local concerns or local responses to health care legislation? How do they become aware of the nuances and details of bills that cover a broad scope of health care services?
