As I write this first column of 2009 (Do you all remember Y2K? Where did 9 years go?), I reflect that the success of the Division is due to members who are willing to contribute time and talent. So, let's recap 2008.
Division Steering Committee members Elaine Ledwon-Robinson and Kevin McNamara organized the Division preconference. Forty participants enjoyed the presentation by Susan Bartlett, LeAnn Golper, Melanie Hudson, Alex Johnson, Carmen Vega Barachowitz on the topic of Leadership Skills for Managing Professional Transitions. Marva Mount, the Division's CEA, managed onsite registration and continuing education and was assisted by Tiffany Markey and Amy Livingston.
