Where did the summer go? I suspect all of us are well into our fall schedules. Schools are in session, IEP’s are due, many of you are probably preparing for a JCAHO, CARF, or a PSB site visit, and the rest are probably overwhelmed with administrative and supervisory responsibilities. There is something comforting in the predictability of what we face on a day-to-day basis. But we also deal with a remarkable degree of change and challenge.
On the theme of change I am pleased to announce my appointment as Executive Director of the Bridge School located in the San Francisco Bay Area. The Bridge School serves severely communicatively and physically disabled children by providing them an educational curriculum through the use of augmentative alternative technology. It’s an exciting program and I’m proud to be part of the organization.
