The Hamilton County Educational Service Center (HCESC) provides an array of educational services uniquely designed to address the needs of its education customers in Southwest Ohio. Hamilton County is organized to satisfy the needs of public school districts, their schools and nonpublic schools. HCESC supports the initiatives and direction of the Ohio Department of Education, but operates an independent entity with its own philosophy and management system. The service center’s primary purpose is to provide support services for school districts and their students.
Services are categorized as Instructional Services and Student Services. Instructional Services are those provided for the professionals within school districts and include such services as instructional technology, professional development and school improvement, curriculum, instruction and assessment, gifted education, and grant writing and evaluation.
