Supervision continues to be a hot topic in 2014! The report of the BOD Ad Hoc Committee on Supervision was published, and future ASHA-sponsored learning opportunities in this important area are being explored.
I would like to congratulate our Perspectives editor Corey Cassidy on the birth of her son, August James, on April 23! Corey continued to work on this issue right up until and immediately after giving birth to her firstborn. Thank you Corey!
Darlene Robke is our official Professional Development Manager (PDM). Having served as our Continuing Education Administrator (CEA), Darlene is continuing in this role under the new SIG structure as she assumes this new title. The new structure designates the PDM as a member of the Coordinating Committee, as the formerly titled CEAs in past years were not members of the Coordinating Committee.
