The spring season signals a time of reflection and renewal for each of us and for the division as well. It had a productive year last year: three substantial newsletter issues that offered CEUs, a successful Leadership Conference in June, a Short Course at the ASHA Convention in New Orleans designed to support members of the profession working to develop speech-language pathology assistants programs, stable membership, successful adoption of the document Knowledge and Skills for Supervisors of Speech-Language Pathology Assistants, and a positive bottom line. The Steering Committee, in its planning for 2002, hopes to maintain last year’s performance as we seek to increase our service to the membership.
